Personal Loans For Bad Credit Borrowers Find Your Loan Fast!

By Jessica M Peterson

Do you have bad credit but are in need of a personal loan now to help you pay for everything from everyday living expenses in a bad economy to major appliances, and more? If so, you may be hesitant to apply for a personal loan because of your negligent credit history. However, there are many wonderful lending institutions that process loans for a specific group of borrowers, those with bad credit. And you can qualify fast.

What Is A Personal Loan?

A personal loan is a loan that is written out for a non-specific purpose. Most lenders do not ask you what purpose you have when you apply for a personal loan. That makes a personal loan perfect for lots of different needs that you may have. There are two types of personal loans: the unsecured personal loan and the secured personal loan. Let us look at these two types more closely so that you can determine which is best for your situation.

Unsecured Personal Loans For Bad Credit

The unsecured personal loan is a loan that is granted solely on the basis of your signature, and is therefore often referred to as a signature loan. Because the lending institution does not ask you to post or pledge collateral against the value of the loan, the lender is relying on your past payment history when judging your creditworthiness. Because of this, most bad credit borrowers may find it difficult to procure a bad credit loan. You can always improve your chances of getting an unsecured personal loan by asking someone who has better credit than you do to apply with you on your personal loan application. This person is known as a cosigner.

The unsecured personal loan is usually not the right type of loan for the bad credit borrower who does not have a cosigner. If you are approved for an unsecured personal loan with bad credit, be prepared to pay a greatly increased amount of interest in the form of a higher interest rate. This higher interest is assumed because of the greater risk that a lender takes when loaning money to someone who possesses a poor credit record. For those bad credit borrowers who have no collateral and are without the benefit of a willing cosigner, the higher interest is often justified to get the loan that they need.

Secured Personal Loans For Bad Credit

The easiest personal loan for those with damaged credit is the secured personal loan. The secured personal loan is a loan granted based on the borrower’s collateral. The lender will hold surety interest in the collateral that you pledge until you have satisfied the terms and conditions of the lending agreement and repaid them in full. The secured personal loan is the perfect loan for the bad credit borrower because it allows the borrower to rebuild their damaged credit file through monthly payments that fit the budget quite nicely.

Bad credit borrowers should borrow with caution, however; if your payments are late, your lender can force the sale of your collateral to recoup the amount of money extended to you. The interest is much more reasonable on bad credit secured personal loans, making them much more affordable than the unsecured version.

Wikinews’ overview of the year 2007

Monday, December 31, 2007

What would you tell your grandchildren about 2007 if they asked you about it in, let’s say, 20 year’s time? If the answer to a quiz question was 2007, what would the question be? The year that you first signed on to Facebook? The year Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse fell apart? The year author Kurt Vonnegut or mime Marcel Marceau died, both at 84?

Let’s take a look at some of the international stories of 2007. Links to the original Wikinews articles are in bold.

The Truth About Weight Loss Surgery

Submitted by: Martin Stanwyck

Weight loss surgery has become popular because of its quick, dramatic results, but is it truly worth the cost? Is there a better option?

Patience is a virtue many of us do not possess. When it comes to weight loss, we like to see immediate results. There is nothing more frustrating than faithfully following a diet when the extra weight refuses to budge. Losing weight can be such a slow and agitating process that it s understandable why people have turned to more drastic options such as weight loss surgery.

Today, over 58 million American s are obese. Although this is a stunning statistic, it s not so surprising in a country where so much of our lives center on food. How many times have you been out to eat in the last month? How many times have you eaten fast food? If food is fuel for your body, what kind of fuel are you putting into your system, and how can you truly expect it to function properly when you are following an improper diet.

More now than ever, obese individuals are turning to weight loss surgery for a solution. Today, many medical insurance plans actually cover the costs of the surgery, claiming that the benefits outweigh the health risks. Weight loss surgery has become a popular way to rid yourself of unwanted pounds in a quick, effective, and efficient process.

Among the recent weight loss surgeries on the market is the popular gastric bypass surgery. Available to only those individuals deemed morbidly obese, this weight loss surgery reduces the stomach in size. Patients emerge from the surgery, no longer able to eat really large meals. Their appetites have shrunk, and they begin feeling full after very small portioned meals.

The eye-catching feature of this weight loss surgery is the fact that patients lose an average of 2/3 of their excess weight within the first two years following the surgery. Patients who have this weight loss surgery literally shed their extra weight quickly with dramatic results. Friends and family usually lavish them with praise about how great they look.

What you might not know, however, is the dangers connected with this weight loss surgery. 10-20 percent of post op patients require follow up operations to correct resulting problems. About a third of the patients of this weight loss surgery develop gallstones. About 30 percent of people having the surgery later develop vitamin deficiency because they do not take the proper supplements. There are also other issues that have frequently occurred in patients that your physician may not be telling you about.

Dumping syndrome is a huge risk connected with this weight loss surgery. This occurs when food is broken down too rapidly when moving to the small intestine. If a patient who has this weight loss surgery overeats, he or she may vomit, feel nausea, or have diarrhea.

If those aren t enough reasons to be skeptical about weight loss surgery, there is the last and most important reason; recent studies have shown that one in fifty patients die from the surgery.

For those people struggling with their weight, weight loss surgery may seem like an answer that s more like a dream come true. It s not only a solution to their problems. It s a quick one with dramatic, immediate results. It s important, however, to realize that weight loss surgery should be a last result.

If you have a problem with overeating due to hunger or cravings, you may feel you ve tried everything, but there could be hope yet. If you haven t heard the buzz about Hoodia Gordonii, you really should give it a try. No, this isn t another fad diet pill. In fact, it s not even a drug. Hoodia would fall under the classification of vegetable since it s from a cactus like plant. Although it just appeared on the market in 2004, bushmen in Africa have been consuming this plant for years to ward off hunger during long journeys. Imagine being able to lose weight while never being hungry. Ask yourself, Have I really tried everything? Wouldn t it be worth a try before signing on for something as drastic and potentially dangerous as weight loss surgery?

About the Author: When weight loss is the necessary outcome, using Hoodia Gordonii is almost essential. Visit Martin Stanwyck s site

Chinese police arrest escaped North Korean convict

Wednesday, December 1, 2021

As reported by state-run Chinese newspaper The Beijing News on Sunday, a North Korean defector has been captured by law enforcement after a 42-day long chase following his escape from prison. Going by the Chinese name Zhu Xianjian, the 39 year-old man had been arrested for illegal entry into China, theft, and larceny. His deportation back to North Korea from Jilin Province was scheduled to take place in 2023, after his sentence ended.

Images and video of the capture were released alongside the report, showing Zhu being carried into a police car by law enforcement, near the lakeside house where he was apprehended. According to a video released by the South China Morning Post, reports say that Zhu was shot in the leg while trying to flee. A 200,000 yuan (31,284 USD) bounty had been instituted for any tips or information that could lead to the defector’s capture, Business Insider reported. Zhu had escaped from Jilin prison on October 18, after climbing on a storage shed and leaping off a wall.

Zhu had escaped from North Korea in July 2013, after swimming across the Tumen river, which acts as a natural border between North Korea and China. Prior to his escape, Zhu had been living as a coal miner in North Korea.

North Korean defectors face imprisonment and possible torture if caught in China. A bilateral border agreement signed in 1986 between China and North Korea warrants the deportation of all Korean defectors caught by Chinese authorities back to North Korea.

International participants showcase different industry cultures at 2008 Taipei Game Show

Friday, January 25, 2008

B2B Trade Area of Taipei Game Show, criticized by trade buyers last year, but accompanied with 2008 Taiwan Digital Content Forum, moved to the second floor at Taipei World Trade Center for world-wide participants with a better exchange atmosphere this year.

Not only local OBMs (Softstar Entertainment, Soft-World International Corp., International Games System Corp., …, etc.) but also companies from New Zealand, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, and South Korea showcased different specialists with multiple styles. Especially on South Korea, participated members from G? Trade Show (Game Show & Trade, All-Round, aka Gstar) showcased gaming industry of South Korea and the G? upcoming at this November with brochures.

In the 2-days Digital Content Forum, world-class experts not only shared industry experiences, members from Taiwan Gaming Industry Association also discussed and forecasted marketing models for gaming industry. With participations from governmental, industrial, and academical executives world-wide, this forum helps them gained precious experiences of digital content industry from several countries.

According to the Taipei Computer Association, the show and forum organizer, the digital content industry in Taiwan was apparently grown up recent years as Minister of Economic Affairs of the Republic of China Steve Ruey-long Chen said at Opening Ceremony yesterday. Without R&Ds from cyber-gaming, and basic conceptions from policies and copyright issues, this (digital content) industry will be fallen down in Taiwan. If this industry wanted to be grown up in sustainability, gaming OBMs in Taiwan should independently produce different and unique games and change market style to market brands and games to the world.

The Basics Of Emergency Room Coding

byadmin

The emergency room is oftentimes the very first place that potential patients arrive at a hospital. They are sometimes hurt seriously and will need to be admitted to the hospital for inpatient treatment or transferred to another hospital. Emergency departments are ranked on a one to four scale that determines trauma levels. One is the highest level of a trauma center.

What Is Emergency Room Coding?

This is the process of assessing a patient’s diagnosis and ranking it appropriately based on diagnosis, treatment, and prospective payments. Coders classify all of these figures and bill a patient based on the Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS). The coders use Ambulatory Payment Classifications (APCs) to determine where in the OPPS a patient falls.

Ambulatory Payment Classification

Ambulatory Payment Classifications (APCs) are the federal method in the United States to pay for services within the Medicare system. APCs are only applicable to hospital outpatient services. There are other methods by which a physician is reimbursed in the United States. Though APCs were originally created for determining Medicare payments, the standards are applied by some state programs, by Medicaid, and by some private health insurance firms. The streamlined process makes the job of coders more straightforward.

Guidelines

Emergency room coding guidelines vary from hospital to hospital, so it can be very difficult for a coder to properly determine how to code a certain patient’s services. Many facilities adhere to the OPPS and the APCs applicable therein, so it’s merely a matter of a coder being well versed in the statutes.

Coders have the unenviable task of considering every single documented procedure whether it is by a nurse or a physician. They are must also review a physician’s notes. They must also be very well versed in the medical field to properly assess how the diagnosis relates to the treatment and whether it was warranted. Also, the notes and documentation will have medical procedure codes and diagnosis codes. The coder must read the codes and determine the necessity of the resulting procedures. Also, there are no national or federal standards for what defines a necessary procedure and what doesn’t. That means every management service has to set its own guidelines. This can get very complex very quickly since there is no widespread standard. In fact, the codes between a hospital and a physician, even one with admitting privileges to the hospital, could be different. Determining the proper amount to bill a patient requires intricate knowledge of medical procedures and the medical field. Because of that, it is advisable to hire a firm that is experienced in coding and billing. These management companies can allow you to rest assured that you are getting the best coding and billing services that are available.

Gastric bypass surgery performed by remote control

Sunday, August 21, 2005

A robotic system at Stanford Medical Center was used to perform a laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery successfully with a theoretically similar rate of complications to that seen in standard operations. However, as there were only 10 people in the experimental group (and another 10 in the control group), this is not a statistically significant sample.

If this surgical procedure is as successful in large-scale studies, it may lead the way for the use of robotic surgery in even more delicate procedures, such as heart surgery. Note that this is not a fully automated system, as a human doctor controls the operation via remote control. Laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery is a treatment for obesity.

There were concerns that doctors, in the future, might only be trained in the remote control procedure. Ronald G. Latimer, M.D., of Santa Barbara, CA, warned “The fact that surgeons may have to open the patient or might actually need to revert to standard laparoscopic techniques demands that this basic training be a requirement before a robot is purchased. Robots do malfunction, so a backup system is imperative. We should not be seduced to buy this instrument to train surgeons if they are not able to do the primary operations themselves.”

There are precedents for just such a problem occurring. A previous “new technology”, the electrocardiogram (ECG), has lead to a lack of basic education on the older technology, the stethoscope. As a result, many heart conditions now go undiagnosed, especially in children and others who rarely undergo an ECG procedure.

Top exorcist says schoolgirl was kidnapped for Vatican sex ring

Thursday, May 24, 2012

Gabriel Amorth, the Roman Catholic Church’s leading exorcist, has suggested missing schoolgirl Emanuela Orlandi was kidnapped for sexual abuse at orgies attended by foreign diplomats and arranged by Vatican police. Orlandi was fifteen when she vanished in 1983.

Amorth, 85, who was appointed by the late Pope John Paul II, makes his remarks as Italian police try to determine if bones buried near the body of a mobster belong to Orlandi. Anonymous claims have suggested the tomb of Enrico “Renatino” De Pedis contains clues to her disappearance.

Investigators are examining bones removed from his burial site in the Basilica of Sant’Apollinare. Buried in a nearby crypt, the bones are thought to be centuries old but forensic tests are ongoing. One theory is Pedis kidnapped Orlandi to press Vatican officials over a financial dispute, with his onetime lover claiming her body was disposed of in a cement mixer.

Amorth refutes this explanation, and also an alleged “international dimension”; another theory is that the kidnapping was to try and secure freedom for Mehmet Ali Agca of Turkey, who shot at the pope in 1981. Orlandi’s vanishing “was a crime with a sexual motive” says Amorth. “Parties were organised, with a Vatican gendarme [policeman] acting as the ‘recruiter’ of the girls.”

He further told La Stampa “The network involved diplomatic personnel from a foreign embassy to the Holy See. I believe Emanuela ended up a victim of this circle”. “It has already previously been stated by [the late] monsignor Simeone Duca, an archivist at the Vatican, who was asked to recruit girls for parties with the help of the Vatican gendarmes.”

Orlandi has not been seen since she set off from the family apartment in the Vatican City, heading for a Rome music lesson. Orlandi’s father worked for the Holy See. Amorth is a controversial priest who lays claim to thousands of exorcisms and has criticised activities such as yoga and children reading Harry Potter books as spiritually harmful.

Quick Extender Pro Penis Curvature And Peyronies

Submitted by: DavidD Moore

Curvature of the penis can affect men of any age or race. Penile curvature occurs anywhere along the penis shaft, causing the penis to curve downward or lateral.

Curvature of the penis can affect men of any age or race. Penile curvature occurs anywhere along the penis shaft, causing the penis to curve downward or lateral. Curvature to the left or right is caused by a difference in the lengths of the differing parts of the penis not matching, known as disparity. This causes the penis to curve towards the shorter side. Curvature of the penis is, unfortunately, common among men and can have a devastating effect on their lives. Penis curvature can affect so simple a task as urinating. Curvature necessitates abnormal bending during urination, constricting the urethra and making urination painful. In addition, penile curvature can be ascetically embarrassing. Men suffering from this condition hide their appearance. This fosters feelings of low self -worth and depression. Curvature of the penis can also lead to painful or unsuccessful sexual intercourse. The inability to perform without pain causes anticipatory pain, leading to erectile dysfunction. While the normal shape of the penis is conducive to sexual intercourse, curvature of the penis can affect the female partner in two ways. First, curvature of the penis redirects the thrust of a man?s penis, which can prevent female arousal and orgasm by missing the female g-spot. Secondly, curvature of the penis can allow the penis to strike areas rather painful, such as the vaginal wall leading to the bladder causing extreme discomfort. The interference and separation of normal sexual relations can and will affect healthy relationships. Sufferers of penis curvature are, in essence, forced to hide this condition. Hiding the condition forces them to hide themselves.

Peyronies Disease is a disorder affecting up to 10% of the male population. Peyronies Disease is a connective tissue disorder. Due to the higher rate of cases among related males, it is believed Peyronies Disease may be inherited. Alternatively, it has also been documented on occasion that trauma to the penis, from rough sex or injury, will cause Peyronies.  Peyronies Disease is characterized by scar tissue that forms in the elastic covering of the penis. These scars cause curvature, loss of girth and width, as well as erectile dysfunction. Multiple scars can prevent sufferers from fully expanding their penis. This causes many types of distortions along the penis, as well as pain. Peyronies Disease can strike any age or race, but is most common in Caucasian males over the age of forty. Sufferers can find sexual intercourse so painful they negate the act. Severe forms make intercourse impossible, as the penis has doubled back onto itself. This disease can also prevent the penis from trapping blood, causing impotence.

Peyronies Disease, unlike curvature of the penis, is characterized by scarring. Peyronie’s sufferers have flat and benign scars, known as plaques, that form anywhere along the penile shaft. These scars can cause indentations, some appearing as flat disks, along the penis shaft. This can give an hour-glass shape to the penis, unlike penile curvature which causes no indentations or flat disk scarring to the penile shaft. Peyronies Disease is also characterized due to the multiple areas affected by the diseases? chronic nature. Peyronies can affect sufferer?s hands, as well as feet, unlike sufferers of penis curvature.

Both penile curvature and Peyronies disease sufferers share the frustration of erectile dysfunction, pain and lack of physical intimacy. However, a new device on the market may offer hope for such devastating conditions.

Penis extender devices have been found to correct penis curvature. The Quick Extender Pro, the highest rated penis curvature correction device worldwide, has developed a penis extender that has satisfied thousands. This penis traction device offers a solution to sufferers of penis curvature as well as those having Peyronie’s Disease. The Quick Extender Pro penis traction device is a device that offers penis stretching through consistent yet gentle tension. Through dedicated research, the new DSS? system features two medical grade silicon tubes to secure the penis shaft and head. This will result in a controlled tension and leaves no chance of slippage, which is a major issue shared by existing penis extender systems.

The Quick Extender Pro penis extender is worn daily. Penile traction is easily adjusted. Consistent penis stretching forms microscopic tears along the shaft of your penis. These painless tears cue your body to begin the healing process. As muscle builders increase their muscle size through breakdown and renewal, so too does the penis traction device. New tissues form along these microscopic tears, re-building and straighten your penis. Such tissue growth leads to penis enlargement as well as correction of penis curvature. In addition, scarring from Peyronie’s disease can be corrected through the formation of new tissue along scar areas. Penile traction also opens up blood flow, a previous condition of Peyronie’s disease. The penis is afforded new and healthy cells, rebuilding along the microscopic tears. New growth is easily seen through penis enlargement. Sufferers of such painful conditions as penis curvature and Peyronies disease are afforded new and improved confidence, enhanced sexual performance, and the ability to enjoy healthy physical intimacy.

Offered online at www.QuickExtenderPro.com, select Quick Extender Pro packages are exclusively backed by a lifetime warranty on parts and labor. Wikinews interviews candidate for Cleveland mayor Arthur Kostendt

Monday, June 14, 2021

Arthur Oliver Kostendt, a candidate running in the mayoral election of the US city of Cleveland, Ohio set to take place November 2, discussed his campaign and policies with Wikinews this spring.

According to Cleveland Scene, 29-year-old Kostendt is a member of the Cuyahoga County, Ohio Republican Party but has referred to his campaign as “casual”. According to his web site’s personal biography, he was a cadet for the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), scout platoon leader for the 2nd Squadron of the 107th Cavalry Regiment of the Ohio Army National Guard and logistics officer for the 1st Battalion of the 145th Armored Regiment. He served in Kuwait, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia and assisted coalition force detachments in Southeast Asia.

Kostendt is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and summa cum laude graduate of Cleveland State University. He writes he uses an apostrophe to abbreviate his middle name as “Arthur O’Kostendt” instead of the customary period after the O to emphasise his Irish heritage.

A poll published May 5 by Baldwin Wallace University, which does not feature Mr Kostendt, has Dennis Kucinich and Basheer Jones leading in the mayoral race by 17.8 and 13.3 points, respectively, with a margin of error of up to five per cent either way. 48% of those surveyed were undecided. Incumbent mayor Frank G. Jackson, who won the 2017 Cleveland mayoral election with 59% of the vote, is eligible for a fifth term but announced on May 6 he would retire.
